He's Waiting For You - #368

I bet you’ve prayed for God to move in you in some way, give you a new direction, or for something to happen in your life? You want to feel like you still matter to this world and to God? But you still doubt that He sees you at all. This feeling is not new; it’s normal. We’re human after all, we seek attention, we ask questions, and sometimes doubt what we cannot see. Our minds simply cannot comprehend the vastness or the mystery of God, so we revert to what we know.
The prophet Isaiah answers our questions and our doubts in chapter 55 by reminding us that God’s thoughts are not our thoughts, His ways are higher than our ways, and that the storm you’re going through is meant for more than doubts and why-me questions. They’re happening now, so you can sprout from being buried and bear generational fruit tomorrow. Just hang in there, stay close to God, and trust that He is sowing the bread of life into you right now, for His plan for you is greater than what you can see.

Like a bad habit that you need to shake, but until God removes it completely, you’ll just keep doing it. God’s not procrastinating, why should you?
That addiction or the vice that you can’t stop? God can help you remove it, but since you started it, you’ll have to resist the temptation when it comes back. It’s difficult, but trust that His Holy Spirit and your faith are stronger than your flesh.
You think that silence means that God’s ignoring you. But deep down, you pray that He leaves the 99 and looks for you. You’re not connected to anyone or have lost your purpose. He’s the Shepherd and is looking for you. Do you want Him to find you?
Your Heavenly Father knows about your rebellious spirit too. He sent His only Son as a sacrifice for you to choose forgiveness and redemption instead of rebellion. He’s the ultimate gift. Will you accept it?
You’ve asked God to bring people into your life who hold you accountable to strengthen your faith, but no one is showing up. God is trying to stretch you for more. You eventually have to leave the fear of meeting new people aside so you can find that “brotherhood” your soul longs for. Truth is, there are “brothers waiting for you to make their lives stronger too.
It seems like bad things are happening all around you. Nothing seems to be going right, and you have nowhere to turn. Well, there’s a peace that you may not understand, but it’s stronger than the pain you’re facing. You can lay your difficulties at His feet, and let go instead of carrying the pain with you. They’re not happening to you, they’re happening for you.
In conclusion, if any of these resonate with you, then maybe God’s trying to get your attention instead of you trying to get His. God sees your heart and loves you so much that He’ll free you from the burdens you’re carrying, the pain you’re feeling, and lead you in a new direction with those you’re meant to walk with. If you want to live a legacy that’s cherished for generations to come and impacts many, then start by giving God your full attention now. He’s waiting for you
