Our Garden #336

When are you going to grasp the significance that your legacy garden can make? Will it be today, tomorrow, or one day? To help motivate you, realize that the seeds you’re sowing now will grow into the fruit that is reaped by someone else later. What are you sowing?

The idea of feeding your family from your garden is one thing, but I believe that your legacy is created for more than just your backyard. It’s meant to feed your neighbors too. Even if you doubt that your garden has what it takes to bless others, it can, and it’s meant to. So dont’ forfeit the difference your garden can make by keeping the harvest only for yourself.

Here are three ways to expand your garden. One, till up more yard and double it’s size. Two, ask for help. And three, have a reason why you’re expanding. Now we know that there’s no room in the yard for more garden, so that’s out. And we also know that your reason is to provide food for your family to enjoy, so that’s out too. That leaves us with asking for help, the hardest thing to do.

Start small by asking a few people to help you expand because the more people who give attention to the garden the better results and more people benefit from it. But the truth is that it’s never been about the garden itself, it’s about the difference you can make in other people’s lives. It’s about the impact, and the blessing you can be to them. But you’ve got to ask for help, and for partners to join you in your mission.

Since groups form every where, every day, then why can’t you do it too? It doesn’t need a 501c3 or be public, it just has to start.  Statistics show that for your group to be effective members need to be committed because they believe in the power of the group and the purpose for it. They are willing to invest in themselves, as well as the group to see each member succeed in the right way. It worked for Jesus, He started with 12 and changed the world.

Your group will need a leader, a schedule, an agenda, and a mission to pursue. Since God’s planted that seed in you and you brought everyone together, it looks like you’re the leader. You may not have realized it but you’ve just created a Brotherhood, an Accountability group, a Bible Study, a Team, or a Mastermind set out to leave a mark in this world and for eternity. Congratulations!

God has placed this on my heart too. To create a group of men with a purpose and for a purpose. I’m calling it The Den with Legacy Lions who are not afraid to be stately in stride because their confidence comes from the Lord their willingness to purse the mission He’s placed on their hearts. Legacy Lions will provide for and protect their families, as well as create, and live their best legacy everyday while reflecting the light of Christ to others. Legacy Lions in The Den will also rely on Scripture, learn from each other, share experiences, provide accountability and grow their businesses with Christian principles.
